Lauren Ledford grew up in North Texas with horses and the cutting horse industry woven into her life from the beginning. She was on a horse before she could walk, and after moving to Aledo in grade school, she became involved in a variety of sports, learning early the value of teamwork, leadership, and being part of something bigger than yourself. She is a proud Aledo Bearcat and Aggie.

Lauren attended Tarleton State University before discovering her passion for geology and earth sciences. She transferred to Texas A&M University, where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. After graduation, she joined her mother, Tara, in real estate, and in 2015 they began building The Tara Stark Real Estate Group together.

Today, Lauren is a licensed real estate agent and the team’s Director of Marketing. She oversees the creative direction and marketing of the team’s properties and brand, from photography and video to digital marketing and the way each property is presented to the market. She has a particular appreciation for land and equestrian properties, having grown up around both horses and the lifestyle that comes with them.

Lauren is passionate about helping others and believes strongly in making a difference through both her work and the way she lives. Her faith and family remain central to her life. Outside of real estate, she enjoys photography, being outdoors, spending time with her animals, exploring backroads, antiquing, watching old movies, and finding a good piece of chocolate.
