Kevin Kohler is a seasoned real estate professional with over 15 years of experience in real estate investment, development, and sales. His academic background includes a degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, with a focus on sustainable resort development. FIU is where he began his career journey, where he joined a start-up solar contractor. He managed government and LEED Platinum solar construction contracts, successfully developing solar farms for private investors. His expertise in solar energy development includes over 5MW of Solar PV capacity across Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida, including the first LEED Platinum government facility in the state of Florida.

In 2017, Kevin expanded his business acumen by diving into the real estate sales and brokerage industry. His passion for real estate led him to excel in commercial real estate analysis, acquisitions, and sales. Kevin founded a top-performing real estate team that caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals to institutional investors. The Kohler Team operates in a number of markets and has agents that specialize in commercial and residential real estate, along with development and business brokerage services offered. The team currently represents over $150 million in off-market listing representation and closed transactions worth over $30 million in December, 2025 alone!
Kevin's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a successful property management firm in 2021. Under his leadership, the firm has increased rent rolls by an average of 33% within 24 months of taking over operations, showcasing his ability to enhance property value and profitability. In 2023, Kevin fired all of his clients, because Property management was out of alignment on his journey, as he shifted into asset management operations instead, operating a series of large commercial investments via his real estate fund he co-founded, Empire Builder Capital.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Kevin is a dedicated father to his dinosaur-loving son, Ben, and their stomping ground is the South Florida region.
