Ben Wilson has worked in several different capacities since joining the STDB/CCIM team in 2008. His primary areas of expertise include working with site users to gain a better understanding of the capabilities of STDB, working to create relevant case studies and real life examples of the kinds of problems that can be solved using STDB as well as significant efforts in the marketing/sales arena. He performs online, in-person, and one-on-one trainings to determine the best practices for the product in their businesses. He has also created a database of instructional videos to guide STDB site users on ways of using the site efficiently for retail, office, industrial, restaurant and multi-family disciplines of commercial real estate. He has experience in territory creation for retailers, QSRs and travel centers.
He has also completed work as a Project Owner of the Business List component of STDB. Over the last fifteen years he has worked extensively with STDB to develop a working understanding of GIS as well as the commercial real estate industry. He also has over two years of experience in the commercial real estate arena from his time at Woodmont Real Estate where he worked as a market analyst.
Ben is a proud father of his 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son. He is an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoys competitive shooting, fishing and backpacking. He is involved at Highland Park Presbyterian Church where he is an active member. He is a graduate of TCU (2008) from the Neeley School of Business where he earned a degree in finance with real estate emphasis. He also is a loyal fan of the TCU Horned Frogs.
