Find Your Funny: Unlocking Your Sense of Humor as a Trainer

Effective trainers know the importance of adding just the right amount of humor to improve a program. That’s because once people are laughing, they are listening, which means they are primed for learning.

While many know that humor is an instructor’s secret weapon for capturing attention, improving understanding, and making a memorable impact, it can be intimidating for those who weren’t born telling Knock, Knock jokes. Fortunately, you don’t have to be superhuman to be funny. Whether you know you’re hilarious or bomb every joke, the truth is that you are far more capable than you realize.

When it comes to learning the skill of humor, the question isn’t, “Are you funny?” The question is “What kind of funny are you?”

This mindset-shifting (and hilarious) hands-on program combines top communication theory, science-backed research, and Andrew’s experience as a professional comedian to equip participants with the skills for understanding their natural humor and using it (safely) at work.

You’ll discover the 7 primary humor personas, identify your natural style, and learn exactly how to start bringing your humor (and authentic self) to work. Get ready to learn, laugh, and learn to make others laugh.

Participants will experience an instantly applicable shift in their ability to:

  *   Confidently communicate their ideas so they make a greater impact on others
  *   Get results, build rapport, increase their performance, influence others, achieve work/life balance, and experience the 50+ other benefits humor brings to work.
  *   Understand the 7 primary humor personas and how to apply each one towards being a more effective trainer.
